Take Two!

I used the above M&M chocolate chips to bake these new batch of cookies =D but this time it didn't turn out as well as the last time (first time of baking the CHEWY chocolate chip cookies). They say, beginners luck, well I agree. It's always like that with everything I bake, the first time is always the best tasting. I can never replicate my recipes aw man!! Well, at least... I gave it a try and it was a great time killer. I enjoy baking a lot actually. I think I am eating too much of my baked goods, I should stop baking hahah! I am gaining weight XD I baked these cookies with M&Ms because my mom doesn't like chocolate chips that much, well too bad the tiny gold container only had two cups of M&Ms but I needed 4 cups of chocolate chips LOL, so I HAD to add extra chocolate chips that she didn't like =.= I guess that was pointless. One day, I want to open up my own shop of bakery hehe.

Square Pearls

最安全衛生的珍珠奶茶
Now we can make square tapioca pearls for our own bubbletea!! looks like it is worth trying at home =D

An Inspiration?

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is God's gift, that's why we call it the present.”

Joan Rivers quotes (American humorist, b.1935)

This quote appeared in the movie, the Kungfu Panda. I was once reminded by a friend of this quote, it's quite interesting and very wise. I will think about it whenever I think life is useless, hopefully this qouls be my inspiration to keep going. As the Taiwanese say, add oil~

Summer Baking 101

This is what happens when I get really bored... after looking at online food blogs =.= Then the worst part is, I eat them all because it's so GOOD! The recipes I use are all from online sources, I can't take credit for any of them =)

I baked these super chewy and soft in the center chocolate chip cookies for a friend's birthday, yum yum yum. It still stays soft and chewy after 4 days of baking, it is definitely worth a try yourself =D

Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • 1 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. Beat butter, vanilla, sugars and eggs together
  2. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda to form a stiff dough
  3. Stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Drop dough by 1/4 cup measurements onto ungreased cookie sheet 2" apart
  5. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes at 375 degrees
yum
These blueberry muffins are REALLY yummy also, I love how jumbo sized they become and how moist they retain even after a whole week of it stored in the fridge =) I love to eat the cap also, it is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The recipe is adapted from Simply Recipes, I changed the plain yogurt to blueberry yogurt to give it that extra berry kick.
