Match Bar Lounge with Facebook group [Taiwan Summer 2008]

Saturday night I joined a Facebook Group event~ it was really fun, and I met lots of strangers, who are now friends ^.^

I think there are around 200 people in that group, of the 200 only about 10 showed up... =.= I was expecting like a group of 50 or something, it was disappointing at first and kind of boring cause I was shy, but once I drank a couple of drinks, I opened up haha~ then it got interesting, drinking games hahaha I was always the king buhaha!! luckily I didn't have to do any silly things while I ordered them to. Suming said that a lot of people aren't even back in Taiwan yet, that's probably why only 10 people showed up.

There was a lot of ABCs, and only three CBCs including myself. Only one Calgarian~ the other two were friends and both from Toronto. The crowd was a smart crowd, if you know what I mean, academically they were very educated. I was the YOUNGEST again, I'm the youngest everywhere. Oh and there were people from New Zealand, that was pretty cool. There were people from Texas, Miami, Virginia, New Zealand, Toronto.... and Berkeley university? hahaha oh and ONE LOCAL!!!

They were speaking of a thing called Love Boat, which is from my understanding, a group of people who are mainly ABCs that come back to Taiwan to learn about the culture of Taiwan for a month, meet new people and such. I thought love boat was something cheesy, what a name.

Lavender Forest/Garden

Today my friends took me to the Lavender Garden. The car ride there was long and boring and holy crap, immature people annoy me. I was the only girl in the car the whole way there~ they spoke as if I wasn't there with such low intelligence topics. By the time we get to Hsinchu, it was already kind of late, then the boys couldn't find the way =S it was very sad. Anyways by the time we got to the actual Lavender Garden, it was pretty late and the place was closing soon. We met up with the other group of people that I didn't know, which included two very high maintenance girls. It started raining when we were driving uphill, and thunderstorm =( too. We only walked around the garden for an hour and it was raining hardcore, good thing they were handing out free raincoats (the yellow ghetto ones). These girls were complaning a lot so some of the guys wanted to please them, so then we had to leave the forest. I was not impressed at all, I wasn't happy! As we were leaving the forest, the thunderstorm got stronger, and rainwater was starting to flood, and we were stuck in traffic (stuff in the flood) it was very nasty. All the boys took down their pants and sat in their boxers haha! cause the rain got their jeans wet. I just sat there... staring out the window. We walked around the Hsinchu Old Street, many little shops and eats =) we had a nice dinner. After dinner, we drove home to Taipei and I took the MRT home since they lived in Taipei County, and I live in Taipei City. It was a okay day.

TOEIC test tomorrow at 9:30 am

okay, so I completed one listening practice test (intermediate level) and one reading practice test (adavanced level), I wish I could get the advanced level for listening though but I don't have the CD for that. I didn't really study much for TOEIC, just one practice test... so I hope I do well tomorrow.. need some luck!

Oh and people are giving me way too much pressure, people make stupid mistakes too sometimes.

Nervous, but excited. Why? I'm nervous because I have a test tomorrow, I'm excited because I get to see my classmates again tomorrow after my test! YAY~

Hope our trip is safe and sound ^.^

Oh I almost forgot... I get to meet "Deal" tomorrow! This will get interesting.
